    Question Change the permission of .txt???

    ive been trying This TUT but i need to know how to chane the pemission on a .txt file to 777
    i never done this before.

    i have dreamveaver MX 04 as my FTP

    if any body knows please help

    I haven't used used Dreamweaver for FTP before but you'll want to right click the text file on the server and find an option to the effect of change permissions and properties. It may or may not give you a place to type in 777. If it doesn't that just means that the file has full Read, Write and Execute permissions.

    EDIT: I've just read on a few sites that Dreamweaver's FTP doesn't allow you to change file permissions. You may want to try FileZilla. It's free and very easy to use.
