Weather Report on the Flash website

Hi , I am trying to show a local weather stats ... just basic ... temperature and conditions ... how can i get this data in flash ?
I am based in Australia, Melbourne ... zip/country code is ASXX0075

I found some resources but didn't quite work
    eg http://www.actionscript.org/forums/s...d.php3?t=70742
this looked good that flash example but didn't show anything ... I guess it's US based service only or something ...

They have a tutorial or two on that in the tutorials section here at flashkit. Using the webservices connector.

Hmm I cant find it now. I know it (they) are there somewhere. If you have the cash though. Get Foundation Xml for Flash at amazon. Buy it used for like $13.00
not only will you learn the webservices connector but xml in general. That book has gotten mixed reviews. But I can tell you it took me from knowing zip about xml, web services, and data components to becoming fairly compotent in that area.

O.K. have you tried flash-db.com ? They have a few web services tutorials.
