[F8] Why is this collision problem happening

In this game i'm working on i got a movie clip named "bullett" and an A.I character.

The bullet is scripted so that it duplicates itself (using a loop and duplicate movie clip)and moves, works like a laser firing from a ship......and on the enemy A.I its scripted so that when the enemy A.I collides with the "bullett" movie clip it should go to the frame labeled as dead..pretty simple.
But heres the problem, Every time i test the file, the enemy A.I is already at its dead frame.

Is there a stop() command on the first frame of the enemy AI? Sounds like your bullet is playing before you want it to.
