stopping "click to activate" in IE browser??

    Hi everyone.

ive been designing a website and im using a sexy flash banner on each of the pages across the top. However its not so sexy in the IE browser because everytime the page loads there is an outline of the flash banner which ruins the flow of the design.

My question is: Is there a way to stop this microsoft IE annoying bug??

any help or advice would be very appreciated.

    Thank you for your time

It's not a bug. It's something Microsoft implemented a while back due to some huge court case or something.

    Are you using dreamweaver 8?
If so it's an easy thing to solve.

If you have Dreamweaver 8 make sure you upgrade to version 8.0.2.

Then when you embed your flash .swf file into your page it will automatically add the code needed to stop the 'click to activate' thing.

As far as i remember it also creates a 'script' folder containing a javascript file called 'AC_RunActiveContent.js'. Don't forget to upload that folder.
