oh yeah you can have just one inmage and random questions and we can even make the questions random....... do this for me put all of your questions in a text file and then zip it up with your image and upload it then this weekend I'll help you write the code.

another thing I think we should do is just write the answers to a text file rather than emailing it....but either way its gonna require php ....I'm willing to continue on the email solution if you are really bent on it though.

the results thing....what i wanted to do was to create a table eventually with everyones results in...to see if results improved before and after the tutorial and also after a period of time...its kinda like a trial to see if my tutorial works :S

I won't forget you .....and I will continue to help ....but I am gonna write the answers to a text file because It may take days to build the email autoresponder.......I can have the write to text file up and running by sunday night and we will make it so that the user can't change their answers.....you keep working on the hotspots and make sure it calculates correctly .....if your professor wants to see it actually work rather than just see code we will upload it onto my webserver it will require php to work correctly .........and you can use it from there.

oh yeah I don't have a website I have a testing server and right now its not started but you can use it for demonstration purposes if you need to.

ah lucky you!!! I guess flash is my date tonight, hubby has to be on hold!! would i need to add the code to every slide? Also i only have one copy of the quiz..once taken before the tutorial and then a button taking the user back to the quiz to take it again after the tutorial...these are the results that i want tabulated...also wanted an option where the user can fill in their name, email address and comments...but obviously not change the results all in one form...sorry for making it soooo complicated
Enjoy your date

quick question....
do you think its better to keep it in a slide presentation template or change it to a flash file?
-

well if its gonna be on a overhead or big screen then keep it as a presentation....if it were to be a webpage I'd make it a flash file......for school purposes it might be more professional to have a slideshow presentation...if you were actually using it as a test for other students I would make it a flash file.
-
its basically going to be used by other medical students on the school website, i dont want them downloading the program or anything but just using it for their own education...i do want them to have the option to keep reloading the tutorial and quiz etc but i figure this is done by buttons on each of the slides etc...problem is i have no clue if its in a flash file for it to stop advancing..hence did the whole thing in a slide presentation template
-
not sure how the thing would look if it was in a flash file and would it be easier on the eye???
-
it may not even go on the website .... it was originally in its very early stages used as an assessment for me... thats over now... been graded for it and everything...now i wanted to improve it and give it to friends for their learning..my tutor is getting a copy as well...he said if its good..it could possibly go on the website...heck if it doesnt i will probably upload somewhere so ppl can access it!

this is the code i have in my quizscore slide....it finally works!! YAY!!! What i have is buttons that takes the user to the quiz from the tutorial and from the quiz back to the tutorial etc. So what i need is basically somehow to report back when the quiz has been taken twice, although the same questions are not used twice...the quiz is 10 questions taken randomly from a selection of 95 questions.
eeks...will ya be able to help with this mad way??
function doScore() {
if (_root.result == 0) {
comment6 = "Restart Quiz?";
} else {
var finalresult = Math.round((_root.result / 10) * 100);
if (finalresult <= 40) {
comment6 = "You got only " +finalresult+ " % " + "of the answers right. Maybe you should try my tutorial";
} else if (finalresult < 70) {
comment6 = "You got " +finalresult+ " % " + " of the answers right. Not bad, but can be improved";
} else if (finalresult >= 70) {
comment6 = "You got amazing " +finalresult+ " % " + "of the answers right. Congratulations, you don't need my tutorial but please do look at it";
}
}
_root.qTotal = 0;
}
this.reveal = function() {
doScore();
};
this.addEventListener("reveal", this);

I won't be able to determine which user has taken the quiz twice unless you have a login page with session variables or a cookie. I can only write the questions result to a text file and you really wouldn't have any way to tell who's results are whoms without a login page that passes a username to flash.
-
would it work if a user was to fill in their details at the beginning? i could ask them for their ha0000 username (this number is determined by email address) that would then give me the option to know who took the test etc.
please just create however you wish...i would if it is possible to ask them to fill in details such as email address and comments and then this is all posted back to me with the results
thanks
