    load into a level

    i cant work this one out!!!

    i have a empty holder clip on my main stage which i load into using:

    ecBut1.onPress = function ()
    {
    _root.empty.loadMovie("nav.swf");
    //_root.empty.getNextHighestDepth(6);
    //_root.empty.swapDepths(_root.greyblock2);
    //_root.empty.swapDepths(_root.greyblock3);
    };

    greyblock2 and greyblock3 are created using:

    this.attachMovie("greyBlock", "greyblock2", 1,{_x:180, _y:65, _alpha:0, _width:800});
    this.attachMovie("greyBlock", "greyblock3", 2,{_x:180, _y:94 , _alpha:0, _height:26, _width:800});

    but i can't seem to get to load into the level above 1 and 2 (my attempts are commented out, it currently cycles between the levels every time i press).

    what i want to do is get MC empty to sit on level 3 so i dont have to worry what depth to load to.

    or how do i set the depth of a movie clip on the stage to sit above an attachMovie level?
