break up video

Ok, is there a way (in Flash 8) to put a video in, but break up the actual frames in the video into Flash frames, so that in each frame there is an image that corresponds to the video segment?

Is there any other program that might be able to do this? I want to be able to manipulate individual frames in a movie.

what exactly are u trying to achieve? why do u need an image for each frame?

I want to be able to take each frame, paste it into photoshop, manipulate it, and put it back into flash, and then recompile the video.

You'd probably be better off using some sort of video editing program, or a program that lets you take screenshots of video. Then you could past them into photoshop and do whatever. I'm not sure how you would rebuild individual frames into a video though.
