I don't know if I'm looking for an answer - or an opinion...
I am a designer working on a vertical scroller.
This scroller will scroll vertically. And scroll images - not text.
I believe they call them inertial scrollers when they slow to a stop and not stop instantly.
I can't seem to find one that seems smooth (meaning has ultra smooth scrolling action).
I really like th smoothness of iTunes Coverflow when browsing my music library - but I understand that it is a full blown app and probably takes advantage of programming assets that I can't (regarding my limited skill set.)
How do inertial scrollers make smooth scrolling action?
Are their any examples out there that stand head and shoulders above the rest??
I've found one or two that are close - and if I have to work with them I will. I changed one from horizontal to vertical - and it worked okay but want to see if there are other opinions or movies that might polish the project.
Thanks!
