    yes yes it does. My stock lense, while great for what i use it for, doesn't have the clarity or depth that a slightly better lense would have. It's just a couple steps above a nice point and shoot cam.

    i was at a press event today and the majority of still photographers were using EOS canon's with what looked like 17-40mm super wide angle lenses...all of them had the same lense. i was very jealous. Don't know if i can spring $650 for one though.

    The Tammy I got seems to do not so good in low light(focusing)- I think I will resell it back and pay the extra $200 and get the 17-40....not sure yet. I need to go out a little bit more with it.

    So instead of all this gadgets, if you had a nice Macro with a cool 350 D or 400 D and you try and err won't you eventually pick up some similar cool effects?
