Shot in Nottingham outside the town hall yesterday (13/02/07)

weird thing was it was overcast damp and gloomy all day until i took this picture, then a ray of sun just beamed down a couple of seconds prior to taking the shot then just as quickly disappeared after the shot...

i love the lighting. almost looks like you shone a light onto his head!

even though there is sun there, it still has a damp/dank feel to it....

thanks, it is one of the better images I've taken for a while.

Need to make more of an effort to take some specific time out with the camera then just take random snaps like I have been doing lately, the difference in picture quality really shows when your just in photographic mode only...

Nice shot, I'd like to see it with the lion's body lighted and the wall still in shadow though. Still, very nice.

if i get chance i do some post work to draw out the backend of the lion... it be a nice exercise...
