It's something I put together myself, and as you will see it's not exactly Pixar quality.
It's also uses loads of memory.

a little useless imo. teaching her all that compex stuff if she just barely knows any about it- besides from what it sounds the hangman project seems to be much more simple.
I personally would never touch again poser or swift 3d - using a plugin for max would suit me also but it´s the easiest and fastest way (poser & swift3d) if you are a beginner.

True. I also believe that using stock 3D models to populate your game will make it look bland and lifeless.
Better to just draw your own graphics - even if they aren't that great they will at least be unique.
Swift 3D was right for the project that I linked to above because I needed 3D vector graphics and the project was for a CD-Rom.
Can't see much use for Swift in an online game.

also www.daz3d.com have a free 3d rendering program which will let you quickly render realistic people then after exporting the animation as a png sequence you hang away!
