Is Captain Crunch different?
It's been a while since I've had Captain Crunch so maybe that's why the difference was noticable, but the cereal seems a bit bigger and not as dense now (injecting more air to supply the "puff"). It's certainly a good way to cut costs at the consumer's expense.
Anyone else notice this?
Thanks a lot General Mills! that is all...

Does it still cut the hell out of your mouth?

Nope. I've been snacking on it just as is. Because of it's new density, it's pretty soft. I'd venture a guess at slightly crunchier than a Cheeto ball.

weird. Haven't had any cap'n in a while. Who wants to make an image of the cap'n in the Captain Morgan position? "He's got a little Cap'n in 'em".

Yep... it's different from my college days... not as jagged, sweeter, and not that much bigger.

Please can someone post a picture of a bowl of Cap'n Crunch (lotta professional photographers on FK)? I'm British, so I have no idea what it's like. I've just heard loads of stuff about it hurting the roof of your mouth.

Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.
In other words, maybe it's not the cereal that is less dense, but you are too dense for the cereal...

Hey Timmy!!!
hmm, can't say that its ever cutted up my mouth or anything. It still taste the same to me. I really like the Peanut Butter kind though.

I happened to eat a bowl of it last week and it did scrape my mouth up pretty bad.
The cereal seems to be the same as it ever was to me.
same as it ever was.

Mine's all gone, but here's a picture that might help: link. It's like Cocoa Puffs. They're just little balls.
And when I was searching for that picture, I found this (I did not make this):
I... am not alone.

Whenever I think of Cap'n Crunch, I often think of the phone phreaker, John Draper.
