    Bad Intel Core2Duo Ad!

This ad is ridiculous with it immense amount of dynamic particles. When that ad shows up, my system completely slows down and everything starts to lag with the crazy amount of poorly scripted particles from the ad.

Please remove this. It makes surfing the forums a hassle.

    Thank you.

Maybe you should upgrade to the... Intel Core2Duo?

I haven't experienced any problems myself, but I do think that the agencies behind these advertisements need guidelines as to what's acceptable in a Flash ad.

I've experienced the same problems. It just makes me not want to help as much in the help forums.

I'm not that hard to imitate. Just make some random negative claim at Apple or anything else for that matter and then have nothing to back it up.

Lemme put it this way - I'm getting above 50% CPU Usage just from having one window open on FK. Having two windows open puts me at 100%, and makes my typing lag. My computer's pretty much overheating, the fans, meant to be 'whisper-quiet' are making an incredible amount of noise, and it's really making me dread checking for replies. If I have a few tabs of FK open, my computer slows to a crawl. I can't look at any of the swfs posted here any more, because my CPU's too busy running the adverts.

I yearn for the days of GIF once again.
