Flash 8 Professional - Video files "not supported"

I am ripping video from a DVD in order to convert to FLV and play in Flash. Unfortunately, every time I try to import the video, Flash tells me it is in a format that is "not supported". I've tried ripping the video as AVI, WMV (with various codecs) and MPG. They work in all the major video players but Flash is giving me grief with them.

Anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong?

I'm using Xilisoft Ripper Platinum to rip the video, BTW.

    Thanks

I even opened the ripped video in Adobe Premiere and exported it as an AVI and Flash still wouldn't take it.

    D'oh!

I just figured it out. I didn't have Quicktime installed. I'm a doofus. Ignore me.
