ummm, if it's a photo, that's not gonna happen. that's just how it is. unless i am completely misunderstanding you, you cannot stretch an image (unless it's vector) and have it look as good as it did at the smaller size. and going from 150 to 600 is NEVER going to look even slightly good.
plus the aspect ratio is different, so it will be distorted.
if i have got the wrong end of the stick, please correct me!!

Like Carly said, if you have an image that is 150 x 150 pixels, when you stretch it, it will stretch each pixel.
You should set your camera to the largest size and then crop and resize down to 800 x 600. Is that what you mean?
Sorry, but I don't really understand your question.

ah ok, how many megapixels is your camera?
are you saying that when you ordinarily take a photo with the camera it comes out as 150x150 pixels?
i did kind of misunderstand you initially i think

well not necessairly 150 x 150 i was just using that as an example but it is smaller than 800 x 600 i need to use 800 x 600 photos for my website.......so i want my camera to take pictures that are 800 x 600 i think the camera i have is 8 mega pixels it could be more its an exspensive camera........is it possible to make my camera take pictures that are bigger than the cameras default size? .....i'll get the default size of an image if you need that information i just don't have the camera plugged into this computer because i'm doing this for a client but i can get a similar camera if necessary.

if it's anything like 8 megapixels, your photos should be pretty huge.
as asheep said, set your camera to the highest quality/largest size and snap away. if your photos are coming out small and you don't know how to change the settings, then maybe let us know the make and model of the camera and hopefully someone here can help you out.
