Flash 8 Crashing G5 10.4.9

Ever since I got my G5, Flash crashes frequently especially on larger files. I've decreased the history cache down to 20 but it still crashes. It happens more when publishing but at other irrelevant times as well. I've searched the archives here and see other folks with similar issues but have to find a solution. I make my living with Flash and really need to find a solution. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility.

Highlight your hard drive, repair permissions perhaps?

gerbick- Thanks I'll try that. Apparently I had posted in a PC area and those guys were all jumping at the opportunity to blame it on Mac. Anyhoo- We use the same "goes to 11" image (one of several rotating headers) on our rock discussion blog. You might dig it- http://www.rocktownhall.com

Check your fonts, quite possible one is corrupt.
