Guitar?
Went out and got myself a new guitar and whilst giving it a good work in I got to thinking that I know that there are some guitarist here on FK and started wondering what they play?
So FK guitarist what guitars do you have and why do you like them? pictures?
I just got myself one of these: (Crafter SA Bubinga)

The blend mode between the lipstick pickup and the element pickup is awesome and makes for a great sounding guitar.

Nice! Must look awesome in-person.
Loydall, if you read this, what type of acoustic were you playing in that sample you posted (trying to remember the name of a song)? Sounded good.

Nice guitar! I have an acoustic guitar (don't know what brand it is). Payed about 500$ for it, so I guess it's not the best, but I like it!

A battered old classical guitar - haven't got a clue what make it is.. found it in my loft years ago. It seems to go through pahases of sounding really nice and then just sounding dead. I haven't changed the strings on it for about 3 or 4 years now and at the moment I'm loving it.
I record it using an AKG condenser mike and then run it through a slight gate, a slight compression and then a touch of reverb - just a touch though.. Oh yeah - I also use a multitap -delay to simulate a stereo recording.. (soundforge).
Anyone going to the guitar show at excel this weekend? Thinking about popping along..

Actually affordable. When the guitar arrived it was completely set up even in tune! The only disclaimer is the frets were dressed but not polished. A week of playing cured that.

I have a generic fender acoustic that I learnt on, a Squier Strat that I've changed literally everything on and also my baby that I built last year.

It was my first build and I enjoyed every sweaty, frustrating second of it. Really pleased with the way it came out.
If anyone is considering doing their own build I highly recommend it!
