Please Help!!!

I have been working on updating my site for 3 days and it still won't update it!
here is what i did...
1.added 2 pictures and one text box in swishmax
2.went to the ftp site for my webpage(there were already html and swf for the old version of the site there)
3.went file, export, html+swf
4.saved it, said no for edit in word
5.went back to file,export,html+swf and copied the html and pasted it into the ftp
6.went file, export, swf and saved
7.went file, export, swf and copied and pasted it into the ftp
8.went to the website, still not updated!
9.took off the old html and swf and went to the website, said website was forbidden?
10.put old html and swf on again and it gave me the old version, agaiiiin.

what am i doing wrong?? why is the webpage not showing my changes?

also does it take time for you to see the changes or something? because the now i have only the html and swf for the changed site up in the ftp and its still showing me the old site!!

Okay,

You can't just paste something into an flp program you need to open the program find the file connect to the server then upload to the server.
