Hey, I just got the program, and althought it has built-in tools for spheres and cones, there is no tool for cubes/3D rectangles. Is there a way I can do these, without having to first make them in 3D studio and exporting them?

Use the text tool and use the WingDings font. Then use the charmap tool to find the rectangle. Then you can put bevels on and all that fun stuff.

Cube in Swift 3D
....but is there any way in which to do a solid cube directly within Swift 3D?
-
Not really... either by the text trick Triadis described about or by importing a drawing of a square in .eps format.

Hey Mark,
I am guessing by the way you said SOLID cube, that you may have ended up with something like a thick outline of a square when you selected your wingding. If you did, you need to find a winding that is a filled square. The will give you the solid square you are looking for.
