SWF to AVI looks bad, Premiere

Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I've converted some flash files to AVI to edit like regular video. They look OK after conversion, but after being exported as an entire edited sequence from Adobe Premiere Pro they look awful.

    Any suggestions?

I've used Swf2avi and a few others - the avis look OK but when I export from premiere it goes bad.

maybe it is use of the codecs you used for converting flash to video and premiere cannot work with them.

Any ideas? Tried a few converters - they come out differently but still bad.

probably Flash To Video ENcoder will fit you. It has all the neccesary setting for choosing video codecs for converting and also the sound tester and audio settings.

So you can control everything you want.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but why will the codecs make a difference? can you recommend one? does it depend on which version of premiere I'm using? I have tried this program using default settings and it was no better.

Even uncompressed is just as bad.
