    ExternalInterface hack:possible?

    Is there any way to see the communication between a swf and the javaScript of the site he is in?Assuming flash will do it using ExternalInterface?

    I mean, i want to pass a string from javaScript to flash wich will be generated at runtime and i dont want anyone to know what is this string

    Yes it is possible. No hacks needed.

    For example..

    In your Javascript code:
    Code:
    function JavaScriptFunctionName(param1, param2, param3)
    {
        return param1+" "+param2+" "+param3;
    }
    In your Actionscript code:
    Code:
    var stringFromJavaScript:String = ExternalInterface.call("JavaScriptFunctionName",arg1,arg2,arg3);
    stringFromJavaScript will contain the concatenated string that was returned from Javascript.

    As for keeping the string hidden, people can always find a way around this. Hiding it in the JavaScript may not be the best idea.
