[F8] Missing MC white dots

No such thing as a stupid question? I hope I don't ruin that motto.

Is there a reason why I can't see the little white circle of a blank Movie Clip on my stage? I dragged it there on the stage and it resides in a keyframe on its own layer and I can give it an instance name - I think I can apply actions to it - but I can't see it or position it.

Do I have something turned off?

Please excuse me....it was there. I just went to 50% viewing and it was offstage all the time.
