Flash video recorder (from a webcam)
I've been searching for something that will work, and I kind of doubt it hasn't been done before, so before reinventing the wheel, I thought I'd see if any of you have seen something like this before.
Basically, I'm looking for a way for when users visit a site, they can record themselves via webcam. Now, there are plenty of sites that do this, but unfortunately, just about all of them keep the video file to themselves and only allow you to post links to it in social networking sites (facebook, youtube, myspace, etc).
What I'm looking for is the ability to record, plus the abliity to store the file on my server, rather than the service's (which is the key idea). The videos will then later be reviewed and selected videos compiled together.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Here you have LIVE stream, record and append possibilities:

Are there any other possibilities besides a flash media server?
-
Download and install red5 on your server, and you do not need FMS

I mean, is there any way around setting up some sort of flash server in general?
-
you will need a flash media server to do this , you can use flash media server or wowza media system or the open source red5
