    yes i'm quoting myself.... I think i have to retract my statement...I'm sure this wasn't intentional, flashlight, however, Wal-mart's photo center is using a very similar logo on their envelopes to the one i've pointed out i like. It caught my eye the other day, and reminded me of your logo.

    Yeah man, logo design can be the hardest thing. You mean this logo? It's definitely the same style, not surprised at all it's been done, it's generic enough. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you could find an even closer one, honestly.

    This is why most(well, many) logos these days just work with the type, it's the one way you know the logo will be unique, assuming the name is unique. All the "real" logo designers I know subscribe to various services where they can search massive databases of logos based on style, theme, concept, trade, color, etc. It's amazing, they can take practically any mark and find at least one that is so similar already made. That's why I don't try to do much logo design these days, no matter how hard I try to be original it always kicks my butt.

    PS - anyone else gonna throw out some ideas? I want to see some more logos! How about a logo not on black?

    I actually like how simple that one is. I might do multiple pieces with different designs submitted- but for a trial run I am going to test EVP's on a new hoodie I just bought. The kid who owns the shop in town said that since it is only a small chest pocket sized logo he will do it for free.
