    Missing fonts for Flash on Mac action

    I'm designing a flash program that lets students study flash cards of vocab words. Installed on my mac is the hindi font devanagari, and it works on most other programs. For some reason it isn't working in Flash. It's not an option for selection in the font menu and when I cut and paste it, it prints blocks. Any ideas? Suggestions?

    To update: There are fonts for Hindi that show the characters in Flash (and adobe's other products). However, in Hindi script there is a character used to combine other characters, the Adobe font engine is not processing those combinations. It shows them separately but does not process them to combine.
