    Fire Fox Flash display problem

    Hi Guys,

I have a swf in AS3 that play's a series of MovieClips in a loop. These clips move from left to right and load in an image. This works fine for a short while but if you leave the swf on Firefox to play without rolling your mouse over the flash the images do not display. The minute you roll over the player they fire the fade effect.

I've tried updateAfterEvent but nothing seems to work. I have a loading graphic which plays. Its very weird, almost like it turns off the load until the player object is interacted with.

Any ideas? Anyone with the same problem?

Flash movies play only when focus is on the browser.

    Firefox

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I am aware that the browser will stop the player running if the browser isn't active. The browser is active, its just the mouse is on another portion of the page.

It works fine on a mac and Unix and on IE6 and 7, its just seems to be Firefox on windows.

    Weirded out.

Oh no, your right. It only happens when you leave the mouse on the browser for 3 seconds, the flash still plays but it won't change show the loaded image.
