    Image question

    I have created several images for a new website. When opened the file I noticed a W on them.
    Could you tell me what this means?

    the "w" is an icon for Microsoft Word.
    Which should tell you that these are word documents.

    That's the problem.
    They are not word documents - they are jpeg files.

    is it the actual image that has teh W or is it the thumbnail?

    If it's the thumbnail, you have your default JPG program set to Word.
