    Problems using multiple scenes

    Hello,
    I am in need of help in a bad way. The entire site has been developed using multiple scenes that when a button is clicked, I have a transition happening that then is redirected to its appropriate scene using the following in the timeline after the transition

    gotoAndPlay("Support", 1);

    Now the problem is this. After the first scene, all of the buttons will revert back to the top scene. I have a total of 9 scenes and the following code will not keep the play head playing on the scene it is on but rather jump to the top scene and play that out.

    on (release) {
    this.gotoAndPlay("205");
    }

    This is extremely frustrating to say the least. I have tried

    on (release) {
    this._parent.gotoAndPlay("310");
    }

    on (release) {
    this.Portfolio.gotoAndPlay("310");
    }

    Thinking this would force it to stay on the scene named Portfolio but it doesn't work.

    I really have no clue how to fix this and hoping someone here sees a minor error I am making and a tweak I can make to have this problem resolved. Thank you for your help.

    best, Jim

    give each target frame a frame label
    use the label in your script - gotoAndPlay("my_label")

    if you must use a frame number, remove quotes - gotoAndPlay(205);
