Hi
I need someone to convert an educational java game to flash for me.
Please look at this file and tell me what your estimate would be.
Thanks
Ecinele
Not sure if you were intending to include the java code itself, or just the game as an example, but if you were intending to include the java code, then you need the .java files. I looked thought the archive and all I saw were the .class files, which would roughly (very very roughly) be the conceptual equivalent of SWF files.
This java game belong to you? Otherwise, you will need permission to be passing around the files as such. Please answer or risk having this thread removed due to the long-standing rule against spreading copyright material or otherwise any other material that is not your own code.
The sheer amount of people that do not respond to PM's about such things that are posted in this forum is astonishing.
As a moderator, I enforce the rules, I don't make petty judgments as you seem to deem that I've placed upon you.
I merely asked if it were non-copyrighted protected and more directly if you had the rights to spread the source files. This is not to condemn you, nor am I threatening you. It is to protect your membership here at Flashkit since that is a violation of long-standing rules that exist to protect the content. Same if it's your own code; make sure that you protect yourself; and before my post, I had three threads that wanted to "crack open" known sites... not applicable here in the least.
I'm quite sure you are savvy enough to protect yourself. And your code.
My words should not be taken as a threat. I'm basically a toothless sheriff that just wishes that things continue to run smoothly here in this forum; as super-moderator it means that I'm in all of the forums.
Thank you for confirming that this java source code is indeed your own; good luck with your endeavors.
