Java wont work
For some reason Java will not work on my Mac (any of my Macs for that matter)
I have the latest software update but if I go to java.com and hit "Do I have Java?" it tells me to download the newest version from Apple. I do this but when I try to install it tells me that there is a newer version already installed on my machine. Wth??
Any ideas? I have tried at work and at home and exactly the same issue.
Thanks

Open Terminal and type you can see which version of Java you have installed.
Java comes preinstalled with OS X, it always has been.

Apple does their own java. Sometimes apple will be slow in updating it too.
