so i want to do 3D, even though I don't have any experiences with it.
Should I star with an easy and not too complex package, or is it better to go straight to max or lighwave or sth?

I myself would start with an easy 3D program...I have 3D Studio Max and it is VERY complicated and you have to have a pretty good graphic card, etc.
    Hope this helps!

If you get one of the back issues of Computer Arts out of the UK you can get a free full version copy of True Space 2. It would be a great way for you to break in and on the cheap. there is also tons of free programs. One is Blender, Blender is not an easy interface to learn. It does a lot but the learing curve is high. I would go with the True Space deal you can call them at 01458 271 108 or email them at subs@futurenet.co.uk (code COAP38)Hope that helps, Regards, Bill
