So you've got a emebed video inside a movie clip right?

This could be your problem E.G.

Video Clip is 2 seconds long at 25 fps.

You've imported the video into you .fla (which it is at 50fps) and you've set the amount frame for the video to play for 50 frames at 25fps, thus it would loop twice

    ..........

Make sure that when you've imported the video that you have only 1 keyframe inside the movie clip and then while importing the video make sure the expand timeline is ticked.

If you've got live preview on then you should be able to see the video looping.

Then double check the fps on both the video and fla, to double check that your flash has gone weird and not listening to the stop, just add the stop to like the first frame for example and see if it does stop
