Man I love the game. I really like action games, and that one is was great. You did an excellent job with it. It was pretty hard since it seemed iron main felt a bit unresponsive ...well I guess slow when flying around...and since you could only shoot the head every once in a while but I like challenging games so it was fun for me.

    Keep it up!

aaargh, thanks for finding that, I recently removed all hitTest collisions, I guess one still remains

if you play in IE, wmode is transparent, apparently there were some keyboard issues with firefox, BUT. The guy that complained about those issues now says that he accidentally mouse clicked outside of the flash window. As of now, the best bet is IE, firefox will suck 10fps no matter what.

so yeah, anyone else playing, just attempt the boss, collectable objects wont work, sorry :|

I dont think the charged shot worked on the boss
it should work, along with the unibeam. Gotta hit him at the right time though

EDIT - did anyone actually defeat the boss? I think he may be a little on the hard side, I've defeated him maybe twice, I'm on the drink right now so I got no chance.

ran it on FF with 2.2ghz machine. FPS stays just over 40 no matter what. I did notice that I can keep firing normally even when the special attack is engaged. Dunno if that was intended but thought I'd mention it .

    This rocks!

Hey, it seems the game is released now. Something strange for me, on the marvel site, the arrow keys beides moving the iron man correctly, also make the browser window scroll down/up/left/right. (XP + IE7).
This make the game almost unplayable!

Use the A, S, D, and W keys to move. Also, that arrow key issue seems to be a problem with my games, too. In Firefox, there is no issue, so I suggest switching to Firefox. (Ha ha, I love converting IE users to Firefox.)

Oh yeah, the finished product is way too easy. I ended up dying on purpose after level six. I was so bored! Maybe you could try improving the polished version of the game?

No no there must be something else. On the same browser other games works perfectly with arrow keys.

we're looking into it, its basically a wmode problem. But the client has insisted on a transparent background in flash. So its kindof a catch22. Event though the background is black for some reason they want it transparent. Me thinks they have future plans for a image background.

man, there´s meanwhile been so much discussion about wmode, just don´t use it. on various browsers it leads to critical issues, on ie it brings performance raise but in return in various ie versions like also in the latest ones it leads to page scrolling when pressing arrows although the flash window should be focussed.
If i was you i´d just talk with em to load a jpg or swf as bg so they can replace that later and skip wmode and that way save lots of wasted effort.

I agree tom, these people I'm dealing with lack certain cells in a certain body part.

i'll keep trying though, they are set on having a transparent background even though they know the problems, the whole game is covered with a mask because the edges of the interface don't fully cover the swf. This is something I really didn't want to do, but had to.

    I just dont care anymore.

Top game mr_malee, too bad about the setup problems you had with the client. Ran fine for me. Jerky at some points.

Got to the end boss and died. Really depressed all day after that, didn't get much work done because of it :S

Using Opera on Mac I had around 30 fps but had lots of problems with moving while shooting, especially when I got stuck in the top right hand corner.
