3D zoom menu xml issue

I have a 3D menu that loads images from an xml file. The file had jpegs but I have been replacing them with png images. For some reason the png images are appearing in the swf with white backgrounds instaed of being transparent. I tried transparent gif files as well and they still appear in the swf with white backgrounds. I looked everywhere in the fla and xml file and cany find out why the png files are appearing with white backgrounds. Not very good in this area and any help from the jedi masters is much appreciated!!

when youview them normally do they have a 'white background'?

Flash shouldnt add anything to it..

UNLESS, in your code you are attaching them as bitMaps so you can tween/scale them

is this the case.. then I believe there is a parameter you can add to get the transparency.(off the top of my head)

Yes I received some code that modifies the smooth bitmap value and it works
