Default Menu Button

Hi Guys,

I am creating a simple flash menu for a flash lite application.
I am having a little trouble with the menu. It will have three buttons

Play Game
Instructions
High Score

and the two soft keys are help and exit

Is there a way that I can make the Play Game button highlighted as soon as the menu is shown? At the moment i have to press down on the navigation pad to highlight it.

you need to provide more information on how your menu works.

Are you using individual button asset types or do you have an offscreen button to handle events and the onscreen interface is a series of movieclips?

Hi,

I have uploaded my fla. As you can see when the user has pressed the start button he is taken to the menu. I would like the first button in the menu (Play Game) to be highlighted, at the moment the user needs to press the navigation down button on his or her phone to select the first button.

Any Ideas? How do I automatically set the first button on my menu as a rolled over state?
