[RESOLVED] sound in ads on default
Hi Guys,
normally I am the first to remind people that good content for free often has to be supported by ad revenue, and have no problem what so ever with this.
However, the current Microsoft System Center video ads have sound ON by default, which if you browse FK in multiple tabs (as I'm sure lots of people do) you get a rather noisey experience followed by clicking between tab trying to turn several instances of the ad's audio off.
Maybe it would be possible to suggest to your who ever deals with your ad sales, that you can have audio on by default, but keep a shared object that remembers that I have seen that ad already and turned the audio off.
thanks,

Thanks Chris, I've forwarded this complaint to the folks in the ad department. I will post back once I hear back from them.

this ended up going to the top for approval with the president of the company making the call. We shouldn't be seeing, or... hearing any more ads with sound by default anymore. thanks again.
