[MX04] hyperlinks open in browser instead of dynamic text box

Hi im very new to flash and have been asked by my brother to make him a website.
I'm solid in java so OOP isnt a problem.

what im trying to do is include a little text box in my swf to display html pages. Iv got a little way and can get it to display text but when i tried to add a hyperlink to a different html page it opened in a new tab in firefox. I want it to stay in the text box.

can anyone help me?

If you put a link in a text box it will infact open in a new page, or the same page. It will not open INSIDE the text box. That is not how flash is intended to work.

well in that case how do i show web pages within a flash movie?
or more importantly, how do i make a flash website??

Google it, there are lots of tutorials for you to learn from. There are also alot of different methods so hopefully you have some time to learn
