Ok, So Im attempting a somewhat ambitious project for me to be doing. I just spent the last month or so trying to teach myself Flash through a classroom in a book thing and an action-scripting book. So my question might be simple for some of you guys out there that know this software a lot better than myself.

Over the past three days I have tried many theories on how to re-create this site with the knowledge that I have, but keep running into dead ends. I have exhausted most of my theories and am wondering if, at this point, I may just be over-thinking it. So, I decided to turn here in hopes that someone can head me in the right direction.
My specific question for you is, how do I build the circle ring rig with the buttons on it? I want the rings to spin and animate just as they do on the example site, but I can't figure out how do design them with the buttons embedded to them.
The last attempt I had was using the oval primitive tool. I scaled the ends down to the desired button size and then tried placing them and grouping them on another primitive circle that I had made of the same size. I couldn't get them to line up just perfectly and embed into the other ring. Well, that was just one problem among many others.
My main goal is to be able to have the spinning rings work just as they do in the example site, but I just can't figure out how to create the buttons (WITH THE TEXT) and have them spin around.
I hope this all makes sense, and maybe my whole thought process on the design is wrong. Does anybody else have a theory on how to put this thing together? If anyone out there can help with this predicament that I find myself in, it would be greatly appreciated.
