[CS3] [pimp] Law of the West
Finally after 5 years or so I found the guts to finish the last 1% of Law of the West.
Started right after I finished Cauldron in F5, the tribute to "Westbank" (the c64 game), went down a long road of changing artists and recodings .
But now ...
if you have nothing better todo here's a bit of background gossip.
Otherwise you can play it here

The font in main menu screen for small text "Law of the west is GamingYourWay.com production" looks weird to me, as if its missing the font or its bad quality bitmap.
Also, why the highscores aint saving anything for me?

The game is very well presented except for the strange "Law of the west" bitmap.
I was expecting something more spectacular for a game that took 5 years to be released but it's pretty fun to play

It was fun to play good work. Was it done in Flash 5?? lol

Hype over content...
Good work mate.
The presentation as ever is flawless, and although elsewhere it's been described as being a bit shallow, as a coffee break game it's ideal, not every one wants to play a Flash game for 30mins ( Just getting back off my soapbox now )
( A nice way to get my 5000th post. Man, I must have written a lot of crap since 2001 )

Gameplay was -you know- it's a simple game but that aside..
Graphics are flawless, not only that but the sfx also work very well together with the theme. Music also has you tapping your toes as you play along- I just kind of wish you'd thrown in a couple of DeadWood character cameos, that would have made my day. Overall the game has the level of presentation and professional finish that every Flash game 'should' have, or at least aspire to.
What's with the guy with the plates on his head?

Thanks guys.
@Sietjp, well, it was either release it as it is (and just add a bit of love here and there) or let it pass away on my hdd ...
@PhobiK, yep, the first code was written in f5 (and I think 99,9% still is). I thought about porting it to as2 or as3 for about 1 second and decided not to and just work on a "real" game. As this was my second game I started I wanted something "easy", although a lot of games were started later and finished earlier.
@Squize,
@EvilKris, thx. Just shoot him, you end up either with a bag o' money (shoot again) or a bomb (don't shoot).
