    Send in your samples

Every time we ask 3DFA developers to send in their best samples, the response is always disappointing.

We understand that you may be doing some great stuff, but that you are not keen to share your hard work with the 3DFA community.

If you want to see 3DFA continue to rapidly develop without charging for upgrades like the other products do, then contribute now.

    1) We need sample projects that can be included under the sample menu. Every kind of sample, especially games and 3D samples.

    2) We need samples for the website. You do not need to provide the project files, only the SWF. The samples can have links to your own website.

    3) We want links to websites with content created using 3DFA. Links will be placed on the 3DFA website.

Well, I might be able to make something out of my old and new test files.. but no sooner than in coming weekend, most of my samples need something extra and finishing touch.
    So, possible samples are:
    - Gfx updated Asteroids (eye candy "sells" )
    - Gears of war mini-flash-website (near zero content is problem..)
    - papervision3d test (modelling is no problem but idea is.. )
    - few simple "eyecandy" samples (filters etc.)

Now goal is set and lets see withing few dayshow I manage

Here are two links that you can use if you want! Note this site was built from start to finish under carefull instructions from the client. Everything that is on display, colour scheme, starbursts everywhere, the way its animated and proportions was his ideas and choices.

    http://www.gitesdumont.com/ english
    http://www.gitesdumont.com/ french

When the work at the following link is finished:
    http://www.intermedia-services.fr/demos/ims/ims.html
It will be moved to its final resting place and you can add that to (if you like)
I have 2 or 3 other examples but they are related to and built alongside the link above. Mainly the archos section!

I put together an extremely simple arcade style game. You don't have a lot of game samples, especially for beginners, so check this one out. Oh, also go to my website, (zoranan.tripod.com) and look at my Visual Effects Section if you want a few animation samples.

There's been a few nice sample projects added to the samples menu of 4.9.8.7. Thanks to those who have contributed so far.

Please keep posting your zips and links, or emailing them to the support address. We will keep adding more samples to the menu, and in a few weeks, we will update the website with the best samples and links.
    Cheers,

    Another game sample

    Hi!
I made the Collect4 game sample using 3DFA v4.9.8.6. If you like it, I'll send the source files too.

If somebody doesn't know the rules of this game:
The target is to put at least 4 circles of the same color in a row, column or diagonally. These circles all must be adjacent, "neighbours".
The controls are: Every circle can be controlled by A,D and with the Left and the Right arrow keys. By pressing the ENTER key you can put it down.

    Happy playing

    Great sites pwihms!

Which one was done entirely with 3DFA? I especially like the brucenelsondds.com site. It's the kind of site I'd like to learn how to create.
