    this used to be a great lively forum ...

    what happened ?

    well i guess i know, since the last time i visited was almost 9 months ago ...

    I remember this forum being really busy, like about 4-5 years ago.

    I think actually it has more to do with people having loads to work to do and not wanting to talk shop. I think this forum might start getting busier over the next 12 months.

    Honestly, it's bigger than that. Flash/Flex developers are busier than ever now; but I think the people here at FK have shifted to a different type of FK member.

    This area won't pick up anytime soon... and for once, I want nothing more than to be wrong.

    I simply do not have as much time to answer the number of questions that I used to. And honestly, now that I have been here a few years, I have stopped answering the repetitive questions that could honestly be found in the simplest of searches.

    I have accounts at Kirupa and ActionSctipt.org, but I stopped checking those years ago.

    I think it is just a Gerbick pointed out. Those members with the most knowledge are busy with work and there just have not been enough new people with that level of knowledge to deal with the growth of members.
