Flash CS4 (player 10) resources
The new Flash 10 player was released.
http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/
Please post any resources here. To get things running you currently need to use the Flex3 sdk. More details are described here:

A nice tutorial by Senocular:

IT has destroyed my whole night. The Debugger broke
Hi all,
This has killed me all afternoon till now.
I am running vista and Flex Builder (and also Flash) actionscript projects. Its been fine.
I recently noticed Flash Player 10 and i knew i shouldnt download it (as i have been here before) but cuiosity killed the compiler.
After installing FP10, i no longer can debug. If i hit the debug button it returns :
Launch Failed
CreateProcess: "C:\program files\internet explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE"
"C:\users\admin\documents\flex builder 3\physicsMP3\bin-debug\PhysicsMP3.html" error = 3
Firefox is OK now (as i just this second noticed) which is a sigh of relief but what about internet explorer? I have done:
Uninstalled the player manually for both browsers,
Reinstalled the latest player
Uninstalled the player using the uninstall tool from adobe
Reinstalled the latest debug player
Uninstalled the whole flex builder 3 application and deleted all known folders
Reinstalled Flex Builder 3 and updated
Some where along the line, fire fox has been fixed as it never used to connect but internet explorer is being a tough nut to fix.
I have wasted a day of coding for the sake of viewing a single non-spectacular Flash Player 10 demo... bad exchange rate IMO
Anyone had similar issues??

newb of many sorts
Lee Brimelow's gotoandlearn.com has some nice video tutorials. He gets you setup to start creating content for FP10, then gives a few tutorials on some of the new capabilities.
Search first, asked questions later.

Does anyone know when the public release for this is?
Thanks.

Just updating my local copy of the AS3 docs and thought I'd share the love...go forth and download:

Now I can answer the question, because I bought Flash CS4 today. They will release October 14.

sure you bought and not pre-ordered it today? ´cause I don´t see a link on Adobe, Adobe shops, Amazon or elsewhere where I could buy Flash CS4. Like Keith Peters wrote a few days ago: Adobe announced but not released CS4.
Am I wrong?

sweet...now if only they'd recombine the flash and the fl packages so I didn't have to bookmark two sets of documentation!

Here's the combined livedocs (includes both flash and fl packages) for download.
