Anyone get the new Danger Mouse cd? I heard 1 track and not too sure about it. I think I'll have to sit down and really listen.
I am at work listening to it and I have to say it is definitely different but I am really enjoying it.

Scientist - Rids the World of the evil curse of the vampires - seriously some good Jamaican dub. Just happened to run across the remastered version.

Eminems new cd is pretty decent. Catchy beats but ****ed up lyrics.

i don't like his choppy lyrical rhythm on the new album. he's trying too hard to sound different, and it's on EVERY song it seems.

Yeah a few of the songs are awkward with that style but at least he is trying something different. I also thought it was funny that he used a vocoder in part of a song but all it is was him mumbling and not ever singing with it.
Still better then 90% of the crap being pumped out lately- especially in that genre.

I'm going to have to say you're definitely in the opposite mindset as I am in regards to that genre.
That CD is horrid. That nasally, angry Urkel staccato delivery voice he's pushing out there is terrible. And the beats all sound like Weird Al Yankovic meets Dr. Dre - synthetic and just hokey.
It's dreadful.

there are maybe 5-6 decent tracks on that cd.
the step father song, the song about his mom, are both so over the top and just not enjoyable at all to listen to.
the hook on one song is pretty much an exact rehash from the hook on another of his songs with the words changed.
Alot of it just seems dated, and im kind of shocked he did'nt have a tribute to Proof on this cd(when i saw the track title bagpipes from baghdad i thought for sure it would be amazing then a listened to a diss of mariah carey... seriously still on the mariah carey thing?), maybe the one hes releasing in the fall. Overall its let down for me, as im constantly flipping from one good song past 3 bad ones to the next good one, and if his next cd is the same way i will feel like i have just bought 1 cd of good music, and 1 of filler.
I had high hopes this would be a drastic turn around from the soulja boy/Lil Wayne era/error..

Don't you ever say those two names again. They're worse than the MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice years.
Anyway, the CD sucks. I hated almost every moment of it.

Well I guess I am in the minority. I like about half the cd. I never said I loved it and it was my favorite cd I just enjoy it(for the most part)
What good rap cd's have you all been putting in your playlist? It is summertime and my taste in music is changing with the season. I need some good rap to chill out to.
