Lots and lost of last.fm since I still haven't had time to figure how to read songs from an apple device with an apple device.

Been listening to a lot of Calvin Harris, DeadMau5, and Justice lately. They have some killer remixes floating around. They are actually all playing together in at O2 arena in London for New Years. If anyone lives close to there I highly recommend that for your night event as I am sure it will be WILD.

I mentioned this band a long time ago. But I refound their myspace page. Classic 1970's punk rock.
Read the blogs for the history of the band. pretty interesting.

They are teh awesome!
I've been struggling with bands lately. A lot of the old black metal I've been listening to makes my ears bleed.
On my metal playlist:
In Flames - Come Clarity (Incredible album, their best so far IMO). If you don't check out any of the others, definitely give this album a listen.
Amon Amrath - Twilight of the Thunder God (Lyrics are incredibly EMO, but god are they a tight band).
Apocalypitica - Mixture of all albums. They're just that good.
Blood Stain Child - Mystic your Heart - Very reminiscent of old school cradle of filth... Guess that's why I like it, makes me feel like a teenager again.
One band I HIGHLY recommend for rock:
Clutch - Blast Tyrant. OMFG! If you don't shake your ass to this there's something seriously wrong with you. All of their albums are incredible, but this one is by far my favourite.
Other Metal acts:
ANYTHING with Devin Townsend in it. The man is so good... He sings, he plays and he is a cocky know it all show off bastard. You love to hate to love to hate him.
On light listening playlist:
Circa Survive - On Letting Go.
Death Cab for Cutie - Narrow Stairs
Pucifer - V for Vagina
Hope you find something in there you like!
Srsly though top 2 on that list right now In Flames & Clutch.

Have had Clutch on lock for some time now. A co-worker actually hangs out with their old keyboard player. Electric Worry can pick anyone's mood up. I've heard some In Flames but only in passing. I'll give them a closer look and check out the others on the list. Thanks.
