not just great expectations, there were scenes in season one that were ****ing epic foreshadowing of what could be an awesome showdown between peter and sylar, the scenes from the school when peter first meets claire and sylar comes around the corner and then peter tries to slow slyar down a bit but sylar just starts chucking lockers at him.
Then to go to a complete non climax of a showdown.
It would be like if starwars instead of blowing up the death star, then went to the next scene and they just talk about how they blew it up instead of showing you how they did it.
yeah man sylar beat up peter and nathan? really what happened? i dont know all we saw was claire looking through a keyhole and an occasional flash of light, then we saw nathan get his throat slit and that was the end.

Been watching that as well (or at least what must have been a marathon of it the other night).
Also got caught up watching a marathon of 'Master Blasters' over the holidays. Highly addicting. I could dig making a living off creating giant rocket lawn darts and blowing up stuff.

Chuck appears to be back.
I seriously hope they invested in some dojo time and good choreographer. I felt like driving to california just to bitvh slap the director for the last episode.

Just want to reiterate how great dollhouse was and how much it sucks that it's cancelled.

I haven't seen the last episode of dollhouse
Maybe they'll make a new series with the remnants of the old one like BSG and Caprica.
After the dolls get out they form a mercenary group A-Team/Blackwarer

It's really a consolidated story. No need to go with any other direction. If there were five seasons worth of show to prequel on the other hand...

I hate the concept of prequels. Enterprise is a perfect example. It was so busy in the first two seasons setting up TOS and TNG with things like the prime directive and transporter that when it was time to finally develop the characters they didn't have much to offer.

Same thing can be said of Star Wars episode1 compared to episode 6.

It's that crazy manipulation of the time continuum. Blame TOS and Voyager as well

Please tell me that your interest was purely in regards to Jeri Ryan.
i think the censors got a hold of the show. In later episodes she's wearing sports bra's

i disagree. Voyager really had a better story. the fact that it was on ship isolated from the rest of the federation, it really caused Janeway to have to be more diplomatic in order for them to have a prayer on getting back to the alpha quadrent. think about it, you had one ship with half a crew no real doctor stuck 10's of years away from the nearest known ally.
the mixing of the two crews of voyager and chekote's crew meeting new races that had never heard of earth(yet they all spoke English?LOL)
the dynamic of the show was just really good, she couldnt just roll up with the ship and be all badass like picard knowing that if **** goes south he had the entire federation fleet to back him up. Voyager had limited supplies, so they had to make everything last, relationship developed on the ship because there was nobody else to meet. the bringing on of new crew members from other races that were not part of the federation out of necessity.
Just a really great dynamic and a good twist that really helped the show separate a bit from the typical trek cannon. also meeting a race that was laying the mother ****ing smack down on the borg was pretty great

That was my whole issue with the show. They were too far away to have run into so many known [to the audience] races that seemingly had no problem traveling such distances. That kind of freedom of transportation would come with such vastly superior tech that no other spin-off would have stood a chance.

DS9 got weird, almost religious near the end. In fact, it started to seem more like Babylon 5 near the end.
