    Angry Full Screen and scaling issues

    I have researched this topic EXTENSIVELY but have not yet found a solution, any help would be much appreciated.

    This is what I need to achieve:

    1. I have a site design that spans a user's entire screen.
    2. I need the flash file to extend to the full width of the browser.
    3. The site has a gallery with images that cannot have ANY distortion.
    4. The gallery must remain left/central to the page, correctly positioned.

    This is what I have tried:

    1. Using full-screen mode to stretch the entire movie
    ---> Caused pixelation of the images
    2. Having 2 swf files on separate CSS layers, one stretching and the other not.
    ---> gallery swf ends up in the wrong position when the background scales to different resolutions
    3. Separating into 2 objects, one scaling one not
    ---> Just Did NOT WORK

    I REFUSE to give up on my design, does anyone have ideas?
    Perhaps using: fullScreenRect?
    Picture of what I am trying to achieve attached.
    Thanks in advance!
    E.
