    Family Guy seasons

    Ready?

The first part of Season 5 of Family Guy is released on DVD in the UK as Season 6, because Season 4 was split into two - Season 4 and Season 5. However, I want to watch the rest of Season 5, which would probably be on DVD in the UK as Season 7.

I can't find it anywhere. I've looked on Amazon.com and I see you have the numbering correct, but it's split into two volumes. And only the first one is available.

On TV at the moment we're watching Season 6, but that doesn't have a release date or anything for DVD.

FOX, I have money, I have a DVD player, I have hands, ears and a mouth. I want to buy Family Guy Season 6 which is the rest of 5 and Season 7, which is actually Season 6.

    Retards.

All I want to freaking watch is that bit when the head of the maids' union says she wants more lemon pledge. That's it. How freakin' hard does it have to be?!

I don't think that is Fox sponsored like the South Park one is by Comedy Central.

According to Wikipedia, the Region 1 and Region 2 boxsets for Family Guy were released at the same time and contain the same episodes. I looked an Amazon.co.uk and found all 6 currently available sets:
    Season 1
    Season 2
    Season 3
    Season 4
    Season 5
    Season 6
Am I missing something here? They also have complete boxsets of Season 1-6...I doubt that a boxset would skip portions of seasons in the middle.

EDIT: According to one of the reviews it breaks down like this:
Season One DVD is made up of
    DISC ONE: Season One
DISC TWO: First Part Of Season Two

Season Two DVD is made up of:
DISC ONE: Second Part Of Season Two
DISC TWO: Third Part Of Season Two & One Episode Of Season Three

Season Three DVD is made up of:
DISC ONE: First Part Of Season Three
DISC TWO: Second Part Of Season Three
DISC THREE: Third Part Of Season Three - Minus the last episode which is on Season Two DVD

Season Four DVD is made up of:
DISC ONE: First Part Of Season Four
DISC TWO: Second Part Of Season Four
DISC THREE: Third Part Of Season Four

Season Five DVD is made up of:
DISC ONE: Fourth Part Of Season Four
DISC TWO: Fifth Part Of Season Four
DISC THREE: Sixth Part Of Season Four - Minus Final Three Episodes

Family Guy Presents: Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story
DISC CONTAINS: The Final Three episodes of Season Four, which are not on the season five DVD, and are here merged, with bonus material, into an eighty minute movie.

Season Six DVD is made up of:
DISC ONE: First Part of Season Five
DISC TWO: Second Part Of Season Five
    DISC THREE: Special Features

There are still a few more episodes from Season Five that are not on this new Season Six DVD, which will presumably be released with the Season Seven DVD, alongside the first episodes of Season Six.

In fact, the first episode of Season Six (the actual series, not the DVD) is called Blue Harvest, a one hour special Star Wars feature. The whole of Star Wars Episode Four, Family Guy style, with Chris as Luke, Peter as Han, Lois as Leia, Stewie as Darth Vader, Brian as Chewbacca and Meg as the squid monster in the trash compactor! It will be released seperatley on DVD in January 2008.

I'm not that hard to imitate. Just make some random negative claim at Apple or anything else for that matter and then have nothing to back it up.

WTF?! Why not just release Season 1 with all Season 1 episodes etc etc.

Aren't BBC3 not showing the latest FG on Sundays? If so, you could try their iPlayer if it's already been shown.

Because that would make sense. I've never seen anything with this disorganized of a release.

Family Guy isn't allowed on the iPlayer. I saw it on BBC Three, that's how I saw that clip. YouTube seem to be pretty hot on removing even the tinniest of clips, but I found it eventually.
