Yeah there were 2 plugins used to make this site:

allows very cool 3D and text effects at a much lower weight then swift or swish. Get it now while its free cause it wouldn't be too much longer until you have to pay money for it.
Looking at the fluency of the animations in general I would say a plug called tweenMax was used:

Be advised using tweenMax is not for action script novices.
The only thing they didn't do was click the anti-alias in the render pass of paper vision but it’s very cool none the less.
