Phantom CD Drive
My DVD/CD drive keeps popping open randomly. I've already ruled out viruses, any idea what it might be?
It's an HP d6700, Vista Home Premium, Intel T8300
Possibly something in the registry?

It's running superbly minus this issue, especially compared to the other three dells I have in the house.
Oh no, what's that? An informed, jaded consumer? Who'd have thought. I'll update on the drive later.

Your computer doesn't use hot keys, does it? See if any are mapped for eject.
