    3dsmax Modelling sizes

I'm pretty sure i've asked this before but got my measurments back in units.
All i'm formilliar with in 3dsmax is cm, when creating geometry.

I dont know what to base my sizes on when modeling.
any sizes you use for characters would be great

    Thanks
    Ryan :]

As long as your models are in proportion to each other, then most programs include scaling features to adjust to size differences.

If your exporting into game engines, such as Source or CRYengine2, then measure your models in pixels relative to the texture resolution.

For example, in Source, a 2 meter wall can be covered in a 256x256 texture. So make your model around 200 pixels and he will scale correctly.

In max, I find it easiest to work in a no-unit interface. That way, its easy to slap a unit on after work is complete.
    Hello.

    Thank you.
